What is a CMS or Content Management System?

A Content Management System (CMS) allows you to update your website without the assistance of a web designer / developer. Initially you will require the assistance of a web developer to create a website for your business, but after this process is complete you will have the ability to add new pages, add images, update text information, change your meta tag data and re-structure your website navigation if required.

What is E-Commerce?

In simple terms, e-commerce is the buying and selling of goods and services across the Internet. An e-commerce site can be as simple as a catalogue page with a phone number, or it can range all the way to a real-time credit card processing site where customers can purchase downloadable goods and receive them on the spot.

What are Brochure Websites?

A brochure website is a simple way for you to provide more information about your business to potential customers. It tells the visitor about what products or services you offer, provides a way to locate your physical business, and a way for the customer to contact you.

What is HTML?

HTML is the language used by web designers / developers for describing web pages. HTML documents = web pages.

What is Javascript?

JavaScript is the most popular scripting language on the Internet, and is usually used to add interactivity to HTML pages.

What is .Net?

.Net (prenounced dot net) is a server side language used by developers for performing complex processes such as reading and writing to databases and sending emails. Our development team create Internet application using VB.Net (Visual Basic) and C# (prenounced C-Sharp).

What is an Internet developer?

An Internet developer / web developer is a broad term for the people involved in developing a web site / web application for the Internet or an Intranet. Internet developers use many launguages / technologies on a daily basis to create websites including ASP.NET (VB and C#), SQL Server, HTML, CSS and Javascript.

What is an Internet application?

An Internet application / web application is an application that is accessed over a network such as the Internet or an Intranet. Internet applications can range from a simple one page brochure website to complex systems to perform various business processes.

What is SEO or Search Engine Optimisation?

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a technique which helps search engines find and rank your site higher than the millions of other sites in response to a search query. In simple terms, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) helps you get more traffic from search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing.
